On January 6, 1997, a humble lady lost her life just minutes after giving birth to me. Months later, my father succumbed to his grief, leaving me orphaned. Fate soon guided the innocent, vulnerable me into the caring hands of an angel—a woman who ran Notdec children’s centre. There, my life transformed. Surrounded by warmth and support, I attended school, formed friendships with other children, and blossomed in a nurturing environment. Notdec became my family, providing me not just with education, but also with love and hope, shaping my future and turning my grief into resilience.
The support provided by NOTDEC UK has been pivotal in ensuring that funding was consistently available, an aspect that cannot be overstated. Their commitment to facilitating resources has had a profound impact, making what could have been a challenging journey significantly more navigable.
Thank you NOTDEC UK and NOTDEC UGANDA.
